Who we are
Echo Motion, LLC is an adaptive fitness gym and its partner organization Echo Motion Fitness 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID 42-3305486) located at 3124 E Colorado Blvd, Ste 101, Pasadena, CA 91107. In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” mean Echo Motion, LLC and Echo Motion Fitness.
This policy covers echomotionfitness.com. It does not cover information you share with us in person at the gym, which we handle as described when you enroll.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, we ask for:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Who the training is for (yourself, your child or someone you care for)
- The athlete’s name and date of birth
- Preferred program, how you plan to pay (for example Regional Center, Self-Determination Program or private pay) and any goals or questions you choose to share
- Whether you would like us to contact you by text message
Please do not include medical records, diagnoses or other detailed health information in the form. We talk about those in person during your free consultation.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and service providers collect basic technical information, such as your browser type, device, pages viewed, the site you came from and an approximate location based on your IP address. We use Google Tag Manager, which may load analytics tools such as Google Analytics that use cookies or similar technologies.
Donations. Donations are processed by Zeffy, our donation platform. Zeffy collects your payment and contact details under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email, gift amount and the campaign you chose so we can thank you and send your receipt. We never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your questions and schedule your free consultation
- Plan training, including coordinating with your Regional Center or Self-Determination Program when you ask us to
- Send text messages about scheduling, if you asked us to (see “Text messages” below)
- Process donations and send receipts
- Understand how people use the site so we can improve it
- Keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse
- Meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our programs, and only as needed for that work. These include our website host (Kinsta), our form and email tools, Google (Tag Manager, Analytics and Maps), Zeffy for donations and our text messaging provider Google Voice.
If you ask us to work with your Regional Center, service coordinator or Self-Determination Program, we share the information needed to request and bill for services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the safety of our athletes, staff or others.
Health information
Adaptive training sometimes involves information about an athlete’s disability, health or support needs. We collect this in person or by phone, not through this website, and we use it only to train athletes safely. We limit access to the coaches and staff who need it.
For athletes who are Regional Center clients, we also follow the confidentiality rules that apply to Regional Center service providers under California law. See our HIPAA Notice for more about how we protect health information.
Text messages
If you check “Text me to set things up quickly,” you agree that we may text the number you gave us about scheduling and your training. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop messages at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not required to train with us. We do not share mobile numbers or text consent with third parties for marketing.
Children
Many of our athletes are under 18. Our website is meant for parents, caregivers and adults. We do not knowingly collect information through this website directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access limited to staff who need it and security monitoring on our website. No website is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through the form or by email.
